(This skit is about four Guardian Angels taking a day off from the protection of their clients - humans on earth. They are discussing one of their client’s actions during the Christmas season. The time is two weeks before Christmas.)
Danny: Hi, fellow angelic beings! Wassup?!
Andi: Not much. Wassup with you, Danny?
Danny: Just taking a little break from baby sitting. Hey, Freda. You are looking a little tense, today.
Freda: Just the usual at this time of year. Trying to stick close to Sharon, but sometimes it gets really hard to do. I'm glad Laurie was able to relieve me today and give me a day off to rest.
Danny: What do you mean? Why are you so tired?
Freda: Haven’t you been paying attention? It’s Christmas!
Danny: I know it’s Christmas, but what does that have to do with you being tired?
Freda: Now I remember! You only have to watch out for that new baby - the third one for the Kelly family - what is his name? Uh...
Danny: It’s Joey. And what do you mean, I only have to watch out for him. Do you think he’s not a handful? He is almost 5 months old now!
Freda: Is he talking yet?
Danny: Well, no. He is making a few sounds. Ma-ma, Da-da.
Freda: Walking?
Danny: You know he’s not walking yet. In a few months maybe, but not yet.
Freda: That’s what I thought. How much trouble could he be? You just have to sit on your little invisible pedestal in the upper corner of the room and look at him. All day and all night, sit there and look at him!
Danny: He can turn over now.
Freda: Wow! All the way over!
Alice: Hi you two. We haven’t had the same days off in eternity. You look like you are deep into conversation. What's going on?
Freda : Danny here is telling me how hard he works while the little baby says "Goo Goo" and looks around the room. Give me a break!
Alice: That’s right, you are watching Joey Kelly. He’s about 5 or 6 months old now, isn’t he? I love them when they are that age.
Andi: Well, if its not ole Freda over here causing trouble. I heard you raise your voice all the way over at the fountain.
Danny: Hi Andi. She’s hasn’t told us why she is so tired today, but I think it has something to do with her being the best and the busiest Guardian Angel around. You know, the one who has the toughest client and works harder than any other G.A.
Andi: Oh, Danny, don’t take it personally. She’s been a G.A. longer than any of us, and she thinks she knows more than we do.
Freda: Excuse me, but I am still in the room. My clients can’t see me, but I think you can! And I am not deaf, you know!
Andi: Wow, she is a little grumpy, today, isn’t she?
